The equipment used to manufacture this "invisible backbone" is called a mesh braiding machine. Once a cash cow for Korean companies, this equipment is now increasingly being domestically produced and has received widespread acclaim from automotive seat manufacturers such as Adient, Lear, and Faurecia.

Belan's automation engineering team spent six months successfully breaking through the industry's bottleneck in fully servo-controlled, multi-axis synchronous control technology for mesh braiding machines.

This equipment is specifically designed to precisely bend metal wire (typically high-strength steel wire or steel tube) into the complex mesh structures (such as "S" shapes, "W" shapes, and wavy shapes) required for automotive seat back curtains. It is a critical component for seat support and comfort.

Functions and Features of the Belan Automated Mesh Braiding Machine:
1. It utilizes a dual-display computer control system for intuitive operation, controlled via a multi-channel bus. The equipment boasts a repeatable positioning accuracy of ±0.2mm, ensuring dimensional stability during mass production.
2. Multi-axis linkage control: 35 to 58 servo-controlled axes enable simultaneous bending of complex curved surfaces, preventing wire distortion. Simultaneous bending and forming at multiple stations allows for flexible adjustment of data based on product dimensions, with a single station capable of simultaneously bending multiple corners.
3. Both formed steel wire and plastic-coated steel wire can be simultaneously bent and woven into meshes.
4. Different mesh styles can be fully automated by replacing molds.

5. The mesh weaving section is video-monitored.
6. The entire machine is packaged in sheet metal and equipped with three safety roller doors for remote control.
7. Five to seven automatic wire feeders can be added to meet customer needs.
8. High cost-effectiveness: Belan Automation's independently developed mesh weaving machine achieves ultra-high wire weaving accuracy of 0.2mm, increasing production efficiency by 30% and achieving a yield rate exceeding 99.8%. The price is only 60% of imported Korean equipment. The equipment features a unique "weaving-testing-calibration" closed-loop system and supports remote operation and maintenance over the internet.
Currently, Belan Automation has supplied equipment to several domestic seat suppliers exporting to Europe and the United States.
"Choosing a domestically produced mesh weaving machine is not only a cost consideration, but also a trust in domestically produced high-end equipment," said the director of a listed automotive seat frame manufacturer. The rise of domestically produced wire rod equipment not only optimizes the supply chain but also reshapes the global manufacturing landscape.

Going forward, the industry should continue to adhere to independent innovation and intelligent manufacturing, ensuring that more and more equipment worldwide is Chinese-based. The Belan team is honored to be part of this effort, contributing value and creating a better life.
